The only limit to C4 map size is the user's memory. It is well capable of huge maps. We wouldn't have chosen it if it were not.

i have not mapped with wireframes before but fromwhat i have learned its harder to make larger maps compared to a heightmap-based mapping. you get better quality and have more possibilities but its will take more time

as long as its not ending up as a fancy version of cs and cod im happy

From me playing around with the C4 map editor, I love the free-form brush tool, its like sculping a piece of pottery.
I'm not sure which DEV posted, but one of them posted an ammo crate that looked SO amazing with the lighting on one of the C4 maps. Also, fast ropes.... is it possible in C4? |
