Hey there!
A few comrades and myself have found ourselves in the following situation very often. To be precise, 100% of the game play time (at least yesterday): We were playing on Muttrah City, US Side. Insertion was smooth, great job by our pilot. Having fun in the firefights in the city streets. We had a few casualties, so we disengaged the enemy and retreated to a hostile-free zone a bit away to set our RP (previous one was too close to the front, it got destroyed). My Squaddies had about 20 seconds to wait, I set an RP. 20 seconds later, my Squaddies started complaining, that we didn't have a Rally. I was sure I had set one, so I went back to check. It was gone. I tried to set another one, but I always got the "Your rallypoint was overrun..."-Message. So I had them spawn on the carrier and take a ride in a Huey. Once we were complete, I tried to set a new one, just as a test. It spawned, as expected, but self destructed after about 2-3 seconds. Then I got the overrun message again. We tried switching SLs, but that did not do the trick, until one of us actually was able to set up a "permanent" RP. Now, I know that Rallys can be overrun, but in a MEC-free area? Maybe we were doing something wrong, but maybe not. It is frustrating... If you guys have any idea what could be the cause (even if its us bing too stupid to set a rally) then I'd appreciate a reply (If this belongs more into the support section, then I'm sorry, its 7 in the morning and I had little sleep) |

The DEVs are running an open beta on select servers where rally points have a 30 sec expiration timer so that you have to depend on firebases more.
