One time I was the gunner of a Stryker, and we were exiting the base on EJOD in a hurry. A friendly truck was coming to rearm itself, and was going to fast to stop. The truck rammed our Stryker, because we were both going fast in either direction. We blew up, but the truck didn't even get a scratch. What the hell went wrong here?

It's an APC, not an IFV. It's supposed to move people from A to B more quickly than walking and more safely than going in hummers. Armour is 14.5mm resistant - it's supposed to take small-arms fire but not go head-to-head against Anti-Tank weapons or heavy autocannon fire.

Sounds like the Stryker hit something more stubborn than it....I'll give the supply trucks credit. At full speed, they might as well be a dreadnought. I remember playing a round of Basra, and having a "run in" with a techy....and what I mean by that....I felt a bumb and heard an explosion. Leaving the techy as road kill. The truck wasn't even smoking after the collision.

The a Stryker armed with a Mk.19 would be great...as a matter of fact...where are the Mk 19s?? Sounds like a search is in order. I completely forgot that the US military even used them!

This.

The gun is there to keep the heads of your enemies down in the off chance they try something, not to root them out and destroy them. It is a box with a gun, not a gun on a box.

Vehicular support seems to be a very important thing for INS maps. Especially Karbala and Ramiel. More so on Karbala....I cannot recall a single round going well for blufor unless the Strykers are viable support. When the Strykers fail the inf...the rounds tend to get very bad for Blufor.

Every IFV or APC (AFAIK) will get a "flat tire" after one LAT hit on the tires.
OP are you sure it was an RPG and not a stolen LAT kit?

With that sniper zoom Stryker can moan down pretty much anything in maps like Karbala where no IFV is present or where MEC has those buggy APC:s where every other spot is a hole.
If stryker would be intended as troop transport, it would need a heavy nerf.
Imho its overpowered when used as assault weapon.

i think the strkyer is the most pure APC in game atm it has just enough armor to get sqauds to position and a little fire power for support.i mean the bradly might as well be a light tank.

bit off topic but i think the stryker should have more seats than the bradly as i think there is more space for troops inside as it dont have to carry a ton of shells or has thick armor like its heavy cuisen.Seems logical to me dont know about IRL mind.

the stryker is like one of the least armored apc's possible its light fast and the crows makes it very usefull against infantry and supporting infantry.. the only thing is its very weak.
