Scoped rifles in CQB

people always say that they pwn people using scopes while using ironsights in cqc. i have to say, this is not always the case.
mostly i use a scope, and i take out plenty of people in cqc. i have to say, this is more likely if i have a weapon that can switch to fully automatic. the thing is, usually cqc is very fast paced and you dont spend alot of time sitting still, so when I engage an enemy, both of us are usually not looking down the sights/optics. the thing is, that at very close ranges, me firing off the hip is faster than the other guy lifting his gun to his face to aim down the sights, and at close-medium ranges, i either run for cover right away, or i spray a few bullets into the enemies direction while moving to cover.

so in extremely close quarters (basically, we are within a few meters, i usually win because either a) the enemy tries to aim down his ironsights and in this time i already took him out by firing from the hip or b) we both fire from the hip and i usually react quicker (i've been playing fpss since far too long) than most and i try to make sure that my body is at least behind some cover or close to a wall when i enter a sitaution where there might be cqc.

now don't get me wrong, i also enjoy using ironsights, i play rifleman specialist alot, and if that class had grenades i would play it alot more. And I agree that ironsights can give you an advantage, but most people don't use that advantage. Also at extremely close ranges, firing from the hip is usually more effective and people with ironsights tend to do that less.
