So Kashan is my favorite "big" map because Quinling gives me that constant hiccuping lag and makes it difficult to play with a high degree of accuracy. Subsequently, I play it a lot, like many of you here.
However, I'd like to propose some things here, in the General section, so that we can get some community feed back for this rather pedantic point I'm making. That said: Kashan needs -water-. The earliest human civilizations settled in river valleys between the peaks of mountains, where rivers ran wild and flooded the banks every spring, bringing fresh silt and other goodies for their fields to grow upon. The water could be drank or used to make delicious beer. You also cleaned yourself there. The earliest human cities of Ur, Sumer and Babylon existed because of the water that facilitated FOOD, DRINK and TRADE -- the three foundations of a growing society. Kashan, however, does not have this. What it does have is two small villages, numerous ruins from Odin knows when, and a bunker complex for some reason or another. It is likely that the villages supply housing to the former workers of said bunker complex. No one lives there now. Do you know why? Well Cheo, you might say, it is a warzone.. You would be wrong. Nobody lives there because they died of dehydration. You know that bunker complex north of North Village? That's a tomb, where they are all buried because they had nothing to drink in the middle of the desert. Good job, we killed them. That said, I propose Kashan gets some water features added into it or something. The banks would be greener, which would add some much needed color to an otherwise drab map. Also, bridges could easily be a strategic location, which could mean an AAS3.0 version of Kashan or something. Deserts don't HAVE to be gigantic dust bowels! M. |

Water running between North Bunkers and South Bunkers would be quite nice imo.

If you'd be happy I could add a well in the villages if there is none. That way you are happy that the population did not die on dehydration and the DEVs don't have to work on an old map instead of the cracking new ones.
