Default multi-national teams. Help?

Any tips for playing on servers with multi-national teams? I just got done playing in a server with a French squad, a German Squad, an English Squad, and a Russian Squad. Naturally, I joined the English Squad. Since the squads all spoke different languages there was not much teamwork and our team lost.

Does anybody know effective ways to communicate with a multi-national team? A list of import things to say in different languages would be nice. Important things being tactical stuff like: enemy spotted, enemy tank, need help, attack here, defend here, etc.

Well, you may notice that alot of squads tend to be called ENG VOIP, these should be the teams you look for if you're not good with languages, then again, I was in an ENG VOIP team just the other day and they were all talking German.

This is more for communicating with other squads. Lets say my English squad needs help, but the only support I could get was from a German squad. How would I tell them I need support?

Simple answer, use the commo rose. It has all the necessary things like "I need support" "enemy contact" "follow me" "I need APC/Helo" etc, and as far as I know it is translated into the every language of battlefield, so where you hear English, they will hear German, French, etc.

Also, numbers are pretty common, so if you call for a helo using the commo rose, and the pilot is German, he will still hear your request for a helo and come pick you up, and he will understand the meaning of "H3 kp 2" or "D7 kp 8" when you get into his chopper or whatever location you want to go even if he doesn't speak English because it's just numbers, and (as far as I know and as far as I've seen playing online), everyone uses the same keypad and grid referencing regardless of their national language.

Beyond that... people just don't always speak the same language. Sometimes you just can't always coordinate as well as you'd like. Just as an aside though, I love that PR has caught on so much in the international community. I've run into people playing from a large variety of countries and pretty much every continent on the globe. Its cool to see, politics aside, everyone on an international scale getting together to go "kill stuff" online together .

English = International Language.

I'm a french Canadian and I obviously use english in PR if I'm not playing with other french speaking peoples.

We have had no trouble whatsoever with passing the information to the other squads in our server where ~50% of the players are finnish and others who speak different languages.

Usually people exchange information which is concerning only two finnish squads in finnish (ride, sit. rep. etc), but "main reports" are passed in english.

However, some people don't bother to read the teamchat and simply ignore the information that's passed on, it's not the servers fault. I've seen this happening many many times in numerous different servers.

One guy from clan X, who fancy our server, did learn some finnish words to easily ask "where to" with heli and some others aswell (dirty ones )

If i play in US they don't understand my spoken english
French don't speak english if not forced to. Germans are quite good at english as are scandinavians.
All those still prefer they own language first.
Thus language is dependent on players currently on server.

Most of the people cannot understand the commarose when playing other than bluefor side.
How meny times iw yelled "bail out" in "MEC" without driver understanding it...
