And yes i know he didnt hit them(or maby yes..idk)....but hey its the aim of the shooter and not "how long does he have to wait untill he can shot".The accuracy of the player/gamer and his hand-eye coordination should depent on him, how accurate his shots are and how his hand is with mouse. So forcing people to wait untill they can shoot accurate is not realistic at all and make the game unbalanced.

LAT´s in general are way to slow in PR...watch this how its done..(us forces at4)

I tried after patch(.86), rpg on Warrior(apc) in Basrah 2 rpg´s and it was down...lol warrior can/should take view more shots then just 2 rpg´s and any apc except Stryker.

"rutschnoi protiwotankowy granatomjot" see the name says basicly the abilitys of this weapon ....its antitank AND grenadelauncher..it doesnt say only for/against tanks.

and here are some warheads (russian)

So basicly even if its Armor Piercing Warhead hitting 5meters near you, your pritty dead(not in PR), cuz of the shrapnels and other stuff that blows up..stones, sand or metal from ur vehicle. And dont think about the OG-7V Warhead ...150m radius that would be the anti infantry "WTFBBQNUKEMALL" weapon.

Personaly i dont know what dev´s was thinking when they made rpg like that ..boredome ? :P or they wanted to drive around in humvees and scream "holy shit" all the time when rpg miss :P(2rpg each cache)

The most "realistic" rpg was in patch 0.85, because of the sound,the movement(u could not shot accurate if u move) and the dmg it did to infantry and armor was very close to realistic.

So, bring back the rpg 0.85!

There are multiple rounds for the RPG. In previous versions, one round could be used against both infantry and vehicles, the round you can currently use appears to be the AP round, not the HEAT one, so try not to mix them up.

IED: None of those videos prove a point that the settle time is to much. The RPG dude that jumps out of cover and fires does not seem to hit anything. You also dont see any hits by the AT4. Those dudes might just as well be surpressing them with the AT4, as shown in the first person mounted helm camera video from Korengal.

Theres a difference of trying to take out a vehicle that comes storming at you, or an APC that can very easily kill you and just fire'ing away at a target to get his head down.

They made RPG like a bullet in PR, it would be lovely to try this AP round near your legs or even 5meters away

ZOMBIE: If they hit the target should depent on the aim of person who shot it.(but i said it before in my post) The time they need to shot should stay indivudually, so basicly 7 second are way to long and unrealistic cuz insurgecny dont have the gearr with them just rpg even women can shot rpg^^..have you shot rpg´s in reallife ?

Yeap that was what I was going for.

But I also like to debate occasionaly so: No I have not. Have you? However, theres a few people on here that do have experience aiming, being in combat etc. That can tell you that aiming a rifle (thats rifle, not something with a big kick like an RPG or AT4) in combat is very different than on a rifle range. You got adrenaline, bullets, screaming and dust etc.

Imagine your an unarmoured insurgent, with just your robe and ure RPG. In front of you is an APC that might see you any minute and blow you in half. Ofcourse your shot will be a hasty one that will have a high chance of missing. Couple that with the low accuracy projectile of the RPG (according to some advisors on the forums here) and I think the 7 second deviation is better than the snipe RPG's we had before. You can still snipe with them but it takes more time. So if you are in a hurry or want to make a sneaky RPG kill from a big range, the RPG ressembles the low-accuracy projectile from real life more. Because of the deviation. If you shoot before the 7 seconds are over.

RPG doesn't do anything against infantry in .86. I shot 2 rockets directly next to a US guy before and he didn't even get scared, he just laid there and continued to shoot. Another time I took an RPG blast to my face and I continued to lay there, knowing he could shoot all the RPGs he wants at me but it's not going to hurt me.

I still think it's funny when you fire the RPG before waiting for the deviation and it goes like to the right, off your screen lol.
