The sound bug might only be an annoyance at times, but try doing chopper-hunting as an insurgent when you can't even hear where the damn thing is

Like I said, I haven't heard a single sound bug since .75. and that was mainly on basrah anyway.

You didn't, others did. Want us to leave the bug in place for 69,999 other people just because you didn't get it?

THAT JUST HAPPENED!

Q: Will the old maps ever be revamped?

A: if we get around to it

alot of the old mappers are no longer around or dont wish to revisit old maps but would rather create new maps, which is understandable.

The plan is eventually replace all vanilla assets. We may remake. Btr90 or vodnik but vanilla assets will not return

I'm glad to learn that it wasn't a "balance" change but a necessary one to fix the sound bug.
(Also, I always figured it was just the stress of battle fooling some poor soldier's ears into hearing things that weren't there :P)

Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

Q: I've heard the sound bug happen when a pilot's been shot out of the helicopter, but the helicopter survives. Any way related, because he was within my VD when it happened.
