Default Insurgent weapon Tracer

I asked for removing of tracer from Insurgent firearm back in 0.85. I thought many of people agreed with me on this topic, and was hoping in this patch the tracer will be removed. Still, many of Insurgent firearm have tracer in them, causing opponent player to know which direction the fire is coming from.

I want to ask, if the tracer was intentionally left not removed, or just forgotten etc.

Also, I want to ask you all again about what do you think of removing Tracer from Insurgent weapons.

Thank you for reading. Please reply.

not sure if its realistic but it would help the insurgency balance a little more so i agree on it.

It's more realistic to remove the tracers from insurgents because most insurgents in real life don't have access to tracer rounds.

I agree as well, for realism and the simple fact that it would make firefights, especially on Korengal, a lot more interesting, and difficult for the blufor.

I think its hardcoded to remove tracers from just one faction or even one weapon. If I understood the hardcodeness right its the case that you just can have a certain amount of tracers for EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING.

Means, if you remove tracers from ins, you are automatically removing tracers from every faction and weapon.

Hope that helps

...

No... Whatever gave you that Idea? Unless you've skimmed over the ballistics thread hastily, where they said you either had to have all tracers or no tracers at all for ballistics to work with proper tracers.

Indeed, you can set the tracer numbers, size, etc all on each individual weapon.

Iirc they were removed for ins in one release, I don“t know why they were brought back?

Oh well, I was always just flying over the posts with tracers and stuff, missed the point that you can set it for each weapon, ty for clearing up
