Angry I have got a problem for v0.85 : it is freezing!

Firstly, I ınstalled Project Reality v0.85 (maps and core) and I played. It didn't freeze.
Then I wanted to play singleplayer. Then I installed PRSP 0.85. I opened the game... While the game is loading, I am waiting, waiting and waiting.... Then the game opened. I played it. But it's freezing. In fact I didn't played. When I heard weapons sound or another sound , it's freezing.

Please Help me...

Thanks

EDIT: my system requirements

ATI RADEON 9600 DİRECTx 9.0
INTEL PENTIUM 4
1 GB RAM
WINDOWS XP SP2

i would recommend another gig of ram and overclock your CPU.

Is telling people to do something that could potentially ruin someone's computer if not done correctly wise??

Wrong version, servers are currently using .86. Try deleting your PR folder and installing .86.

Lead, from my understanding, he is trying to play PRSP.

You will have to lower your settings, PRSP is heavier on the system than MP, because you have to run the bots aswell, amongst other things. It also could be a problem with 0.86 and PRSP 0.85.

u should definately be playing all low settings...
best recommendation is to upgrade. ur system may run BF2 fine but it definetly needs more RAM and a stronger video card and..a faster CPU..lol. i had a P4 in my old cmputer and PR did not like it very much.

I agree (if its PRSP that is). He just has to lower his settings. My system can run it with full bots on Fallujah West with all high settings at 1920x1200 but at 70 FPS.

However, I broadcast it via Xfire (which people seem intrigued by and really enjoy) and system performance dips to 25 FPS. So, yes. Try to lower system settings and get back to us.

1GB more won't hurt, also you should try from lowest settings (graphic + sound) from beginning and increase step by step...

Also you might try with less bots in PRSP:
