Even if the patch would only fix some exploits like CTD for clients due to hacking, it would be well worth the wait tbh.

The PR community isn't the only group of people who (technically) still play BF2.

Will the latest incarnation of BF2 and PR have resolved the issue with battle director?

I have an important video project to complete and is being held back at the moment due to battledirector not working and the team gaffa machinima tool being, frankly, shite.

chuckMFd on 0.9- Can we trade back Assault on Mestia for Qinling?
[R-DEV]masaq - It's rather difficult to "apprehend" a Tu-95... you try persuading a 200-ton aircraft to land somewhere it doesn't want to, when it has enough fuel to get home and it knows you can't/won't shoot it down

Yeah but I meant here, PR is the only BF2 related subject that matters! XD
I want scoped LMG's already!! :'(

Btw, none of the new armies are ready for this release right? I thought someone said they were coming with this release a while back. LIES.

yea but how many of those patches were released when dice wasn't a part of EA lol

i feel ever since EA acquired DICE the whole battlefield franchise is going to hell in a handbag

EA (since dice is them now so no point prayin for them) BETTER GET ITS CRAP TOGETHER BEFORE SOME OTHER PUBLISHER DOES (srry for caps its a frustrating subject)

and i say ea because how many developers have the financial backing like them ... but possibly a small publishing company will gamble with a small developer and who knows, us pc gamers might get a very great new game lol... time will tell

EA Digital Illusions CE - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Quote:
In November 2004, Electronic Arts announced their intent to purchase all outstanding shares in Digital Illusions CE at a price of 61 SEK per share. The board of directors of Digital Illusions CE recommended that the company's shareholders accept the offer. Electronic Arts owned 62 percent of Digital Illusions CE on March 31, 2005.

On October 2, 2006 EA completed the acquisition for 67.50 SEK per share for 2.6 million shares, for a total of 175.5 million SEK. Digital Illusions CE was renamed EA Digital Illusions CE, and CEO Patrick Söderlund became an EA Studio General Manager. DICE Canada, which at the time was being run by DICE co-founder Fredrik Liljegren, was closed down immediately upon acquisition.
