I shall sign it if I can see the need when I get my new PC up and running.

Anyway, vBF2 noobs have turned that thread into a Vista vs XP thread and DICE are completely avoiding the main topic.

Well guys, happy news. For 1.50 beta 2 (released today), bf2.exe is allowed to use more than 2GB of RAM.

"Allow BF2.exe to use more than 2Gb RAM on machines that support it - Fixed"

*EDIT*
Remember to test this with 1.50 B2 to see if it really works guys. TEST IT! Then you dont need the unofficial bf2.exe anymore..

Nice one Grasli, hopefully it will get a good performance increase without the need for the custom .exe.

Yeah that whole thread is a bunch of asshats, god bless the PR mod's. They wouldn't have put up with that.

In the 17th Chapter of St. Luke it is written: "the Kingdom of God is within man" -
not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you!
In You all. Look for the kingdom in all. This is heaven. You need not wait for the afterlife.

It would be nice to get this memory fix as PR memory requirements are going up and up.
