Default Why is the little bird broken?

No matter what I can't land that damn thing. I'm no noob pilot, I'd call myself an ace at flying anything besides the littlebird. No matter how soft you land it will ALWAYS rear back and do a barrel roll or flip, the only way to not do it is to let the game naturally work the chopper down which in return will get you killed 99% of the time since that takes about 10 seconds to do.

I have no problem landing it... And I'm particularly rough with it a lot. :/

What technique are you using to land it..?

Well I'm going to have to say you're not a 'ace' pilot. The LB is a very special heli for PR pilots as it is the hardest to master. All I can say is...

practice, practice, practice...

Also try to organise or just get in with very exp pilots. Watch how they fly and try to work out what they pressing/moving.

You may say 'I can fly really well, I just cant land!' Which I answer 'They sort of go hand in hand.'

If you ever get in a attack LB with 'Blaat' you will see what real skill and control is. But if you want to see more skillful transporting and landing I would suggest trying to find *=LP=* Cmdunkown. Hes a crazy pilot that lack caution but is full of skill.

I could also show you, as I find myself a very exp pilot too. However you would probably learn quicker just by practiceing.

Remember that people usually prefer a clever pilot than a skillful one. Tactics and tips I can give, skills will have to be trained .

I am an ace pilot, fav thing to do is transport. I just cant ever do the littlebird though, every other chopper lands like a real one should. Little bird acts like the tail weighs 2000 pounds

Let me guess, you're holding the decelerate key. Controls invert when you do that. That being said, I am by no means an ace pilot, but I have no trouble with the LB.

In the LB I just tap S when I go down but it still just flips upside down. Its easy to land when you can just slide on the skids like on a street in Muttrah City but on a map where you have to just lower down it will just flip me

The trick to landing the LB is to use down thrust. When i come in to land i come in slow, position, then about a foot off the ground i move the throttle to about -10%, smash it onto the pad and your good. Lots of people will hit the deck and leave the throttle at 0%, which will almost always end up flipping the chopper or forcing you to jump out to save it.

I could fly DCS: Blackshark out of the box. DCS: BS is new a helo 'study' sim and a difficult one at that.

The flight model for helos in PR doesn't make sense. So, while I am a highly experienced sim pilot, I leave PR flying to pilots that have practiced this unique brand of flight model that appears to have little to do with reality.

Not a gripe, just an observation.
