I haven't clocked many hours in PR choppers.

How ever I had spent the majority of last night flying.

The LB is a little touchy, just don't over control it.

On another note, the LB is easy to "fix" even if you do manage to flip it. So even a failed landing isn't always a death sentence. Of course the enemy team may not allow you to get your bird back on it's feet

Yeah, you can do some insane stunts in the LB once you're confident enough

And the huey being the most responsive bird, I gotta argue that. Huey is the most STABLE bird. LB is most responsive (if not overresponsive, lol)

If you have any trouble flying in PR, you probably need help dressing yourself.

Point of interest- flying with a keyboard+mouse is a BITCH compared to joystick+throttle. More like if you can't fly in PR with joystick+throttle, then you can't dress yourself.

All PR pilots should seriously consider getting a joystick. Even a monkey can fly in pr with one

I found that the helicopter handling in PR is pretty bad. They drop like rocks when decreasing rotor speed. Most helicopters can't sustain sideways flight when numerous of them are capable of doing so. They fly forward at unrealistically high speeds. They aren't very responsive either. Vanilla helicopters had better handling--some had some unrealistic agility but at least I could fly them with my keyboard and mouse.

You should just write this off as "get a joystick". Accessibility has to be part of the equation and the expectation for some people to buy a joystick just so they can fly in PR is a bit unrealistic.

I fly with KB and Mouse

I don't have trouble.

My Joystick is being retarded, It will not work with BF2/PR it steers to the right. I thought maybe the Joystick was broken, but it works in every other damn game...

How ever you just have to pay extra attention with KB and mouse. You can't set your throttle, you have to micro manage your throttle.

Still doesn't change the fact that the Cobra can't strafe when it's supposed to be able to.

Huey has the biggest issues with people as it climbs like a cow but dip that baby at a 3 degree angle and whatch that bitc* take off. So if you dont pull up right away, you will nose dive into the ground.

Take off is also hard for people since they dont know there is a sound glitch where it sounds spooled up but in fact it is not yet so. So we see alot of flipping.

Also because it climbs like a cow, when they first take off its even slower, so pilots think its not working, and somehow manage to flip it over.

After some work i got to be a pro on all aircraft, aside form landing the J-10. So all it takes is a bit of work.

But do let me know if you need a intructional video on how to fly certain birds, i will happily make one.

The big issue is that choppers are far too responsive, they react to the slightest movement and are too easy to accelerate and decelerate. This in turn means that any slight angle you land on will force you in that direction at very high speed when you take off.
