The way I see it, the reason choppers tip before warming up is because they are so much more prone to tipping before they've reached max power, since they have neough to maybe lift a skid off the ground for a bit, but not more. If we implemented this with the harrier, it would be pretty much impossible to VTOL, but still possible to STOVL. Rght?
it all depends on if the code can handle it or not... Be my guest at trying to code the handling yourself if you want since no one else is working on it at the moment.

Do I hear crickets?

Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading

Al Basrah's way too small of a map, so it's the same problem as Muttrah.

Its really not that hard tbh. All it really is, is a huge amount of text editing and trial and error which takes a lot of time.

look for CAS's posts in that topic, will give you some info on stuff.

Basically every vehicle has there own .con and .tweak files, some times multiple ones but these .con and .tweak files, espically the .tweak files are what controls basically everything about the aircraft/vehicle, from how it flys, to its weapons etc. In them is engine,s weapons etc, with little sub bits like power, turn rates, etc, you just need to change the value for each of these until you get what you want

basrah is also a 1024x2 map, making it too small....

Not much work done on the coding yet, but for game play sake we will probably allow the harrier to just take off via VTOL even with a full pay load since there is no way we can control its overall wait by if its dropped its bombs or not. So overall it will be easier to take off via the normal conventional way but will still just be possible to take off via VTOL but will be slow to get off the ground, as if we only allow the thing to drop when in VTOL it will be really hard to land it realistically.
Dont the cold mean thicker air wich mean better performance ?
