Lol get a life? I have one....and it kicks ass. Funny.... cuz getting a life.... ..and playing a video game for 3 hours straight where you sit in a box staring at a map..... Those two don't seem that compatible with each other.... Oh and while commanding I like to alt-tab out and pray that .85 is released...... | |

1. Apply for commander
2. Request an Officer kit 3. Walk to command post 4. Read the manual screen 5. Move your mouse to the resign button. 6. Click 7. Never repeat. |

Could a trigger be written in so that when you use a Sat. Scan, you are briefly able to use the lowest level of zoom (seeing what's actually on the battlefield). Like, for about 20 seconds, long enough to assess the situation and bring something new to the battlefield, but without the red dots from Vanilla. The cooldowns for fire support, as well as how they are deployed need to be worked on. Fire support is pretty meh at the moment. Once or twice I've seen it be gamebreaking, but those situations could have been won by the forces that worked with the fire support without it.
This would make commander much more enjoyable, at the moment, even while communicating with squads and doing everything you possibly can, there are long periods of free time where you're just doing nothing... Sitting on your hands... |

Commander's satellite map was there to make it so that he can give orders without receiving information from other players, instead the information was given by the map.
And everyone knows how good players are at giving information to commander so that he could actually command... On hardcore clan players = works sometimes. On regular players = fail. One thing ofc is language, 2nd is ofc that players are not soldiers. |

commander has no function. no, really.
"no, you're supposed to plan the tactics for the squads" i think the collective awareness of the people who have chosen to create the squads is enough to make them choose a wise tactic based on where the other squads are moving. - they do not want a confirmation delay on whatever they drop. - they don't like being given an order beyond the task that the squad was created for. i've commanded 2 times and both were horrible. the squads don't listen (see above reason) and there's nothing to do except mark enemy positions. the other time someone lasered a jdam so it missed the spot. he stopped answering on voip. but i only commanded cause i had my dinner infront the commander screen. i also play some guitar. |
