NO didn't mean the forum disscussion more the Forum engine. It seems to be getting slower and slower.
In Firefox, IE and Chrome. seems to take an age. Have disabled peoples signatures so don't think it's a bandwidth issue. Using 20mb cable with virginmedia. Use Hijack this to keep browser clean. and CCleaner. Anyone else experiencing this, before i start ripping my machine apart. |

Nope. 20mbps here as well. It may be a bit slower sometimes, but it's not terrible or anything. Or I just have low standards

Firerfox runs it great for me, though I had to switch over from IE because it started lagging really, really, really, badly and crashing the browser.

Play with your proxy settings under your internet connection settings. Also make sure that your computer is the only one connected to the network, and that flash etc are updated. Try turning off your Hijack this and other security apps as well - they might be doing a auto background scan at startup, which can slow everything down to you.

It's funny you say this because the forums seem to be running faster than ever for me. I used to have to wait for every page to load and take a coffee break after posting something but now it's instantaneous.

Fine for me using Firefox. Loads really slowly in IE, but avoid that browser like the plague anyway

It takes a while for me too, but nothing terrible.
And it's just this site. Everything else is instant on this cable line. So, I donno. Nothing to make me stop coming here though. |
