It does feel better imo, the problem for me has always been that you enter the outside of the map when you fail at landing on quinling
but Its perfectly landable if you have set up your run correctly i get below 650 and have thrust at 35-40% |

First off, are you using a joystick with throttle? That makes it easier.
Secondly, assuming you are using a joystick, once you have landed and are around 400 speed pull back on the stick to use your brakes. Try to land as far back as possible so as to have maximum runway length to use the brakes. Yes, the Tornado can be landed fairly easily, just line up from the far end, in A1, or H1, and drop throttle until you hit 1000 speed, then tweak it around to keep it there, and then, when you are about one full map grid away drop throttle completely, making sure you are fairly low, and drift to the runway. I find the Chinese runway the easiest to practice on, as it is close to the edge of the map which gives you something to keep a consistent line-up. I just wish we could have flaps and thrust reversers :P |

all other aircraft are easy, but the j10 still drops like a fat cow with no wings. i tried landing it at 35% and i overshot it because its dead hard to land the damn thing lol, the other aircraft have much better stability. In the air i feel like it did change a bit i can take off a bit easier now, so congrats to that.
I reread the whole manual when i was downloading .8 and i read up on the aircraft section where it said something like there is no more air brake by pulling back on joystick?? I must have read that wrong, im sure i did, so just to be a bit more clear, there have been no changes to the taxi and break system right? |

Rhino, could you please move the fence back by around 10 meters from the end of the runway?

The speed at which you decelerate can depend on how hard you hit the runway too. Occasionally if I think I'm gonna overshoot the runway, approaching the end fence slightly too fast, I'll fire the gatling gun. This helps slow you down a lil' bit. Noobie but it works if you're still practicing. | |

Mad-Mike - Good photo's but why do u have 2 threads that are the same?
[R-CON]ReadMenace - Are you referring to the obvious double-post or the less obvious, high-resolution military photographs thread? To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. |

All jets are different.
I want you all to experiment with how slow you can go with out dropping like a rock first. I'm sure after that landing will be easier for you. I want you to find the speed that all the individual jets drop at. Wile doing this keep in mind on how the individual jets wheels are (some are robust some are fragile tippy configurations). |
