depending on my skills... 50%
a bit of a weird question... you should hit a position 100% when you considered bullet flight time and bullet flight line and the bullet is exactly flying like it would fly from a barrel (excluding any deviation algorithms and including realistic ballistics calculation) testing that sort of exercise in ARMA I hit 60% of fast moving targets between 50m and 300m, while using realistic mods for weapons behaivor and ballistics |

Assuming that the guy I'm shooting at is a numb sack and keeps running like on autopilot, I might hit with 75% of my rounds. If he goes nuts after the first hit (going prone, ziggzagg) I'd say only 25% - and if he starts bunny hopping chances of hitting the target are 130% since I'd love to call in a freaking JDAM for that kind of people. | |

Useless poll, as you dont say if hes running across your sights or towards. If towards, 90%. If across 50%. Either way if you get the ballistics and the zeroing right, isnt this something we should be able to find out for ourselves?

As people have pointed out, it depends on the bearing he is running on, as an average, and whether he is taking any evasive action.

I hated the deviation when it was first introduced... and I mean "HATED" it.. then I realized that you can actually run across open areas without getting hit and I learned to like it... (then of course the HATSNIPING rule was lifted on the server I play on, and that joy was taken from me)
I feel the deviation as it is now is OK, but the timer should be based on AWSD keypad movement and not mouse movement, as to give a bit of an advantage to implaced defending forces. |

I have been down to Bisley (the shooting range not far from where i live) a few times and have been on their moving deer target which moves farily rapidly and is about 100 yards out, with a Remington 700 i can get about half my shots on target so i voted 50% - that said i have never used an M16A4.
