Lack of manners.

These days, people don't say "Thanks everyone for a good round" or even a simple "Goodbye" anymore, before a end of a round. It just makes me sick spending all that time on a round in a good squad and not even saying goodbye. Also, usually when I am SL, I do not allow Sniper Kits in my squad, but yet some-people still go grab them, whats so hard about NOT requesting the frekin kit? Anyways, whats your opinion, do you encountered this "lack of manners" usually?

As far as I know... the round ends and brings up the score screen so fast that it's hard to say any goodbyes or anything like that. But then again, I don't really pay attention to that as I'm usually on TS with my squad, but that's what I recall.

Sometimes people say bye and gg, sometimes it just happens and nobody says anything. I don't particularly care either way. It's the internets after all.

I used to, but people don't always reply, so I don't bother much now. Only server I will definitely say hi/goodbye over voip is T&T.

About the snipers:
There are times when a sniper is required, I don't like to be limited by someone saying never use this or that kit unless the squad is playing a role. For example armour squad, air support etc. Unless its cqb I don't see the problem.

As long as the squad leader politely explains what the squad is trying to achieve, i have no problem though.

But yeah, in an ideal world everyone would be polite over voip, say hi/gg/cya etc and you'd be able to talkin in a lobby/score screen.

I missed the sniper part... I'm not trying to make any assumptions, but if you are not letting people in your squad not use the sniper kit just because you think it's for "noobs" or some other bullshit, then that's ridiculous.

At the moment, I think it's a good rule only because half if not all of those kits don't work properly. I see noobs and clanners alike grabbing M14s because they don't know it's broken.

Otherwise, yeah you should let people do as they will unless you are about to enter CQB. As long as your marksman (preferably a DM, honestly, snipers should almost always be pretty far off and in another squad) stays with you guys and doesn't wander off hunting, it should be acceptable.

Well I haven't had a chance to play .7 yet, how are the kits broken?

Indeed. Snipers do not have a place in most infantry squads, period
(The omission of the . at the end is supposed to be witty. You know, because it already ends in a period. You know what, just forget it.)

The fact that the snipers are broken has not stopped me from getting a lot of kills with them on Qwai. I literally spent 10 minutes split about equally between the US and Chinese DMRs and got about 10 kills, as well as destroying 2 RPs.
