Would be SO COOL if we could do that kind of stuff in PR with the Apache (take out infantry in villages)... but there is far too much of a threat from tanks on Kashan, it just pisses me off ..... Hovering is like something you 'shouldn't' do in PR for some reason, or else you get killed. There is no safe zone to patrol.

Al Basrah would still be the perfect map for the Apache then.

One thing that I noticed watching these videos was that the gun-firing is not so precise. Something like it should be done in pr.

[R-DEV]Rhino:"I in fact got kicked from a server for tking."
Hitperson:"well done, treasure it forever."
[R-DEV]Rudd:"if a pidgeon lands on the phone line I lose internet for 3 days"
[R-DEV]Chuc:"Pro man, pro."
(yes, it was about me)
[R-MOD]BloodBane611:"Romagnolo, you definitely deserve a LOL award for that."

The reason the firing is not precise is because they are firing at targets from more than half a mile away. An m230 round travels half a mile/second, and those shots are taking anywhere from .5 - 6 seconds in the above clips. As cool and realistic as it would be to make this possible in PR, its much more of a pain than it is worth, especially because most pilots refuse, rightfully, to stay still for that long when facing such overwhelming numbers of enemy AA.

Owch, some extreme kills. In one part the shells are hitting 30 feet apart from the same burst

Tweaky you can do that so long as you clear the enenmy heavy vehicles first either yourself or with help of the team.

Even the Littlebird/Blackhawk miniguns, pathetic as they are, will destroy buildings in the kashan villages

In this video the scout heli helps the apache acquire targets & in defence vs AA threats

that vid gave me hardon like the clips happenin on tv underlined by electro and boobs. booh!- ( hooray fo european x-tv)
apache hidin between treelines, sanddunes, thats the way it should be imo. anybody remember jane's apache longbow? where you had to hide, acquire target, fire and disappear under radar to loose the hostile missile lock? think it was good old 486. badass tactical game.
I'm for the longbow, but with radar ( UAV) lock like the scout LB from the BF2 addon takin place in the US.
I mean cmon, its flyin abilities, stability and darkness, which makes it easy point out able in the sky make it far more inferior than the havoc.

I remember something like that, its still around maybe? I couldnt run it on my 486/sx because I had no floating point co processor, major lose when it comes to 3D graphics

Remember Falcon with the 400 page manual, thats still around. My mate had the full edition of ATC flight sim with flight charts that'd cover the entire wall of his living room
