Operation Compton was the map British vs Chinese. British had trenches, couple of heavy jeeps. Chinese had some APCs. You can actually download it from BF2 filefront.

Steel Thunder was the one I missed most. Operation Compton sucked miserably (no offense to the person(s) who made it).

i hated Airport..... it was alot of sniping...and i hate snipers with a passion.

I miss Jungle Fever and that map that was called like Hongshao Valley or something. Where you had to capture the village in order to get arty, and so only one side ever had arty. Sure it was a support/sniper whoring festival, but what map wasn't one before 0.4?

Steel was my fav map of 0.5, needed expanding for 0.6 though. Forest was fine imo

city is coming back in 0.7? Mao I had little love for, not unless we get machetes. OGT is how this map type is best done

Airport was ok but I dont miss it particularly

Is jungle fever the one with the USMC carrier, the swamps, temples and big mountain/hill, with a view distance of 50mtrs(exagerated)?

No, it was that really small dense jungle with a river running through the map.
