I've seen the progress meter when building commander assets and fixing up tanks...

Sweet. 1 out of 10 can see the progress bar. Is this a PR related bug or BF2 engine related? Can't remember what Vanilla used to be like.. (a good thing? )

I can barely see it if there's something dark behind it while I'm fixing something :B

It's certainly been a long time, but I'm pretty sure to remember the progress meter working while fixing commander assets or tanks.
The last time I played vanilla BF2 was likely before the last patch, maybe even before the one before that, though, so it may have actually been broken with one of the last patches.
I'd bet my money on a PR bugh though

Maybe it has something to do with setting your HUD transparency in the options in the game?

Nah, I haven't tinkered around with that and it still doesn't work for me.
It's a bug that seems to affect everyone.

Is it April 1st? That's not a bug, that's a feature! Don't fix it.

I see the grey bars, and if you glance at it you can't tell what's happening. But I see about a 1 pixel change on the left side of some of them, and so if I concentrate I can tell how healed the person/tank/thing is.

I think it makes sense - if you're really concentrating on fixing something you might know how long it'll take, but if you're distracted you'll fluff it up and move on.

Kinda like the "bug" with medic self healing.

Vote Yes to Leave The Repair Bug!
