thread cleaned.

We'll look to add an EU server shortly, just need to get the initial major kinks sorted out before we start expanding the open beta testing.

Cheers!

A lot of the time, there seems to be the squad bug where you can't make more than 2 squads.

I recommend that the
A.P.C. be removed from the 10 second timer deal. I understand it for a jeep or a heavy jeep (great idea), but with the A.P.C. now way.

The team operating this vehicle is going to need more time to transport grunts to important flanking and rear flakning postions. It is crazy to have guys jump out then jump back in so they do not get wasted while in route.

_____

Is this the same for the chopper? If so, it would be even more of a cluster blank.
IMO, the A.P.C. is the ground chopper now. Troop movments is its primary job now. So differnt squads will be in it more frequent than in vBF2.

___

P.S. awsome work on the next patch. Many thanks.

The 10s timer kill is only for the driver and gunner positions. They can be passengers without a problem, but can't drive or gun with the wrong kit or belonging to the wrong squad.

Changing positions does not require exiting the vehicle, just hit one of the F3 through F8 keys to change positions.

The APC is probably the most problematic and needs this treatment more than other vehicles because of the spawn point issues.

Cheers!

That... that would prevent a cluster blank. Well done. Excellent response time also.

Carry one.

EDIT: This is actaully a very good idea. Nothing else sucks worse when the driver and gunner are in differnt squads.

Default small irritating question

What happens when a crewman from another squad gets in the driver seat whil e I'm temporarily in the gunner while people request kits etc? I get killed in 10 sec?
Just wondering how. Plz delete if this is too much off topic.

If you are in the driver or gunner seat without the crewman kit or you do have the crewman kit but you are not in the same squad of the player that got in the driver or gunner seat first, you are getting killed in 10s.

Just press another F key, F3, F4, F5 ... F8 and stay in the back.

aside from that heavy AT unzoom/firing bug, which is already fixed, the new patch plays great for me. Also alot less connection problems.

I can see a problem with this :/ What if a squad leader tells his squad to hold spawn until he gets in his APC and is on route. They all spawn in but the poor sap is stuck in the gunners seat and is going to get killed in 10s :/
