Maybe. Assorted other models will need to be completed before it can be released; for example, the AT4 wouldn't have been released if the RPG-26 hadn't been ready to go also.

^^You are right there won't probably be this machinegunner class in 1.0, but If the model is ready, it can be used on various vehicles, like the on the RHIB boat, on some jeeps and such...

Hueys, Blackhawks, Lynx, Chinook, Merlin, pretty much every western transport heli aswell. Some factions could use it as a replacement for the Mg3.

I also highly aproove of a Ch53 in PR. Marine/ german/ Israeli factions could use it as their own little Chinook, Marines could get the Osprey instead maybe? As it's replacing the Ch53 iirc.

Actually it's because there weren't any maps for it.

Edit: I didn't really make myself clear, the osprey is around somewhere, and it's fully functional, I tried it myself a while ago.

It never was in PR no but we had permission to use the RC V-22 but its model was pretty poor and no maps large enough to use it on.

The PK's are the equivilant of the 240, C6, and GPMG. all of those mgs are classed as general purpose machineguns. all 7.62x51 and 7.62x54 rounds.

The PK is already in the game, so really its BLUFOR that is missing out.

all thats needed is to throw the RPK in for the russians, give BLUFOR our GPMG's and we're golden! then we'll have SAW's and GPMG's for everyone! huzzah!
