Some random footage i had from 0.10 and some 0.15. Forgot to set my recorder correctly so i didn't have any sound, so its music only. Video is nothing special, no story line just bits of action put together.

Video is still be processed, so hd will be available bit later.

When i have my headset back that is broken at the moment i will try to make a proper 0.15 video.

PS: Sry again Joku for blowing you up at the tunnel, i was hoping you were far enough way still and without a mic you cant warn someone quickly. Blowing up the squad leader does kinda fit with the lyrics of the song.

Hi,

Noticed something funny happening with the RP placements. It probably requires further testing to confirm this is a bug.

I had a situation while I was setting up a rally point and a second RP bag was removed from the back of a squad member who was nearby ( correct behaviour by design). Problem was that the bag on the ground was also deleted - leaving us with nothing, no RP and no bags anywhere.

I noticed that the squad mate with the extra RP backpack was standing very close (within 5 metres ) to the bag on the ground when I clicked on the "set up RP" option.

Perhaps the piece of code that removes nearby RP bags also detected and deleted the bag on the ground ( i.e. the one that was going to be set up) and the radius of the search needs tweking?

As I said, it may need a quick test to ensure it was not just a one-off server glitch/ping related issue. Never had it happen before, but never noticed if one of the extra RP bag carriers was really close to an RP being established.

Cheers for a fan-fking-tastic mod.

Just a little extra content idea I?d like to put up for disscussion, to be introduced later down the line.
Basically, on a large scale map have small PMC and Rebel teams available, but only when say there are 60+ players on a server. To break it down, you could have slots open up for 6 PMC, with their own small base away from the action, and limited weapons/vehicles. As for the rebels, give them low tech gear with 10 slots and few vehicles. Start them off in a little camp in the hills, away from any targets that would be of interest to BluFor and OpFor, then leaving the remaining 44 players to continue the game as they would normally.
The PMC wouldn?t nessecerily be enemies of the rebels (rather than engage one another, a truce could be formed and potential to work as allies mutually understood) and wouldn?t be penalised for fighting them, so they could regard one another as hostile. The whole idea would be based on creating side missions that the PMC and rebels would have to try and complete, either as friends or foo. Missions like, pick up weapon supply 1.5km from a new target area, where there maybe either Blu/OP fighting. Rebels could even raid FOBs, steal the ammo boxes and RTB with new gear leaving BluFor/Opfor strapped for gear at said FOB. Generally the missions would lead both factions onto the fringes of the main battle, where there will be obvious dangers and hopefully chances for cross fire.
Only when the PMC/Rebels get contracted by Blu/Op may they be able to help cap major targets, and of course maybe they could all join together if they wish and crush one side, which may seem terribly unfair, but nyeh, life's a bcith. It may give room for sneaky sabotage and interesting betrayals.
For each side mission completed (i.e. assassinate Swedge:twisted:/complete ammo pick up) the non-army factions get more gear, giving them an insentive to continue as underdogs and receive big bonuses for helping either Blu/Opfor forces. A script for giving sparse/ticket dependent intel, similar to CI, on the whereabouts of certain SLs thus creating assassination missions would be cool.

Any ideas?

So after watching some videos of various special forces i kept noticing that sometimes they don't wear helmets. Why is this ? I can understand that in certain operation they dont wear helmets because they can make sounds, but when they are on a normal patrol they also dont seem to be wearing helmets. Is it because a helmet can obstruct your view, are helmets useless, is it a mobility issue or do they think they are so good they don't need them ?
Some Pics from Special forces without helmets.

I decided to open this thread because I saw a lot of people had feedback over this map.

So far from what I've noticed is the constant struggle Bluefor has escalating accross the shore. I think there was a lack of diversion. Personally, I think Bluefor needs a frigate, or an artillary that would fire from the carrier to the beach head thus creating a diversion for the units. Even if the shots were limited, just enough to clear a successful extraction to shore would help.
My plan was to go up there sneak in and try to take out some INF and their FOB. Although I didn't exactly expect the APC to be right in my path. I have never seen anything like this before so id thought id share. I ended hiding under their APC which was clueless of my presence and managed to take out their TOW before getting shot by some infantry + i took a screen shot of my hiding spot. xD Its a shame I didn't have an IED with me though.. -_-
