Isn't this an act of war? Sure its unclassified, but you do not hack another countries governmental network and expect nothing to happen.

Yeah i just read this on BBC. As far as this being an act of war i think maybe under different circumstances the US would not take this lightly but given the way things are now it would not be very smart for bush to make much of this, at least politically.

Germany has accused the Chinese of doing the same to them recently.
This reminds me of the Chinese professor who has cracked her 5th encryption algorithm. MD5, HAVAL-128, MD4, RIPEMD and most recently SHA-1. Using typical PCs and good old mental math, no supercomputer required. http://en.epochtimes.com/news/7-1-11/50336.html |

Where does the 800lb gorilla sit ?
Wherever he dam well pleases. This is just a wake up call for the Feds. They need to hire some top notch people and pay them the going rate, even if its' off the books. |

Which means that they'll be fighting it out in the next PR tournament phase. So hurry up for the sign ups, as there might be a bit of a huge influx towards the US and Chinese teams (like a couple of thousand grunts) But frankly, a government trying to spy on an other one !? I'm shocked.

heh I would really wonder if USA, Israel, Iran, Russia, Germany, UK, Korea, Japan, France ...
would not try to hack to other governments networks 24/7. Quote:
Maybe they will finally install some firewall

If we consider it an act of war... let's not be surprised when we're attacked by the 100 countries we've probably done this to...
800lb gorilla? Exactly. |
