Cool background and "changelog"
Posted in: Uncategorized
Posted 01-20-2010 at 11:17 PM by [R-DEV]dbzao

I don't have much to share right now, but expect some new information soon

Just thought about sharing this image of the changelog of all the repository revisions since 0.874.

How about this background AncientMan did for me?

Or this one?

Cheers!

What's the point of posting an image of the changelog which noone can read?

The point? Because it shows just how much work we put into PR... Compare it to BF2 1.5's changelog, see the size difference.

    Don't like it, don't post.

So as to not ruin the suprises upon launch, or before they are annouced. A readable change log should come out on launch day

btw, OMG forum alert level - Change logs escape!

Ancient, you don't have to be a dick bud. I asked an honest question and I got an honest answer...from Teek.

The point is for people to see the length of the changelog, and (as ancient said) the amount of work that has gone into 0.9.

Back on topic: looks like I found a replacement for the default windows 7 background. Thanks db!

Richy it's like a ritual every release.

Usually its a XXX changlelog, with only a few letters with the rest being X, we have to try and decipher what has changed....
Maybe they're trying something different this year.

The fact is Ancient gave an honest answer as well...

I can confirm that the 0.9 is indeed larger than my cock, so it's HUGE.

I know Xavo, I've been playing since .5 or w/e

Ancient, you could have said something along the lines of what Teek posted.

    EOD.

You do realise that what I said is the actual reason why we post these, and what Teek said is not the reason why we post these? Why would I say something like what Teek said, when I'd not be telling the truth?
