Cool Idle time in AA gun/j10 landing

Ok in Quiling on the UK side we were getting raped by a j10, although we had lots of flags (the guy was an asshole). In anycase, everybody who spawned at the airfield manned up to all the AA guns and such. So there are two miniguns for air defense and the one IGLA i think, or whatever its called that locks on and shoots AA missiles. I sat there scanning the sky for a good 5 min or less, then i get kicked out of the server saying i was IDLE too long.... A bug?
Or just an unfortunate mistake by punkbuster?
I was moving around.

Next round i was on chinese team and went j10. My other squad mate had one too, and we did a few bomb runs, went back to airbase to reload. I landed first, but it looked like the front gear dug into the runway, and my whole aircraft jsut started to slide sideways and crashed right away. My mate had the same problem.
Also later on we wanted to land and i managed to get it on the runway, but i cant stop it in time.... I landed on the beggining of the runway at about 650, and pulled back on the joystick like midway, but i got to the end of the runway and fell off, and i still couldnt stop. The plane kept trying to stop but hit the side runway behind the main runway and started to do the barrel roll and died... How the hell am i supposed to land this thing? lol. In anycase the latter doesnt matter but the front gear digging into the airfield was a bit buggy.
Thought u should know, cheers!

Punkbuster problem. Needs movement keys input to count you as playing.

Turn 360 degrees and walk away is what you should do tbh.

That, and you could spray a broken garden hose farther than some of the weapons in the game. My tank's machine gun spray was so wide that I got out to check if it had been jammed with a banana.

if u just tap a movement key if your in a AA gun even though u wont move will this be seen by punkbuster as movement because u pressed a movement key?

Playing PR since 0.4

Also, about the J-10...

It's been noted and the developers have worked on and already have corrected the issue with it. So yes, they're aware that the J-10 as of the v0.75 patch is sluggish, must land too fast and also has an issue of dropping out of the sky as it acts rather heavy.

But like I said, it's been fixed and as soon as the v0.8 patch is released we'll see vast improvement on the J-10 as I've heard from some reliable sources.

Re: Idle time in AA gun/j10 landing

right on, iv heard the same. The only thing that concerned me is the bug where the front wheel digs itself into the airfield upon landing, and it doesnt come out, making u slide sideways off the airfeld and crashing, very very eerie. But since myself and my other pilot member had the same problem that round i figured it wuznt just my bad luck, has to be a common bug.

Im not sure, but the idle kick might be fixable just by zooming in (x... or was it c?)

When landing the J10, you must come in at 800, then hit the ground just before the fence pretty hard so you bounce back up, fly over the fence and land on the runway. That usually slow the aircraft down enough REALLY unrealistic, but it works (Usually)

Re: Idle time in AA gun/j10 landing

thats hardcore

Well i found a way to get an extra bomb on the J10 without ever landing!!

After you deploy the two bombs, go find your target.

When you have identified your target, head straight towards it.

Enable afterburners.

Dig the j10s nose into the target.

You might not come out of it alive, but he most certainly wont either!
