Try to do as I did in here ....worked for me!

Solved my earlier problem by deleting gamelogicinit.con and reapplying bf2 and pr patch.

I am having the same issue as everyone else is having...i get halfway into a map start killing the enemy etc...and then it freezes my screen and tells me punkbuster has kicked me, for shaders etc...but im like i can't hack my shaders etc...and when i play normal BF2 its perfectly fine...so should i reinstall Project Reality or reinstall fething everything!!?.

Are you running it from the PR.exe link? What exact mgs do you get?
