The merlin seemed to be fixed in the server side patch. Any server side patch planned for this issue, or is v0.8 not too far off?

Ok, update on the "lag".
Huey is lagging for me aswell. Checked. Confirmed. BRING BACK BH!!!!

Ive noticed that its not a problem with custom made flying machines, cause its not in planes nor it is in custom made small helicopters. What I noticed aswell is that cross motorbike on bashra is lagging for me the same as those two helicopters. Any one that is laggin can confirm that one?

Its like a cage in pilot seat which prevent information to get to you smoothly.

hehe na its there, its really odd you just get a 1sec pause every 2secs and if i ever get it I just jump out the chopper and tell some one else to fly

I sometimes had lag issues with merlin, sometimes not... I currently haven't yet lagged in the huey, maybe a small amount, like a small fps drop every 3sec... But - "custom choppers lag", is not true... Littlebird? Doesn't lag...

But some ppl say its fine on local servers - as most people probably know, that narrows it down to some kind of confliction between packets(But why fps lag not ping?) on server to the player

Other than that, so far - thumbs up for everything

I reinstalled whole BF2 and PR. I got rid of Huey lag from multiplayer. YAAAAAAY!!!!
For two rounds. It came back when I was later on Archer....

NOOOOO!!!
No helicopters for me... where is my BH...

Yeah i hoped it wast just because of the blinking light on the tail, because i lagged in that rythm, and my crappy PC. But no such luck i guess. Managed to land the thing after a round over the map, only to see the next pilot backflip it over the base.

No lag for me on the motorbikes, i absolutely love thoses. To bad they damage quit easely, so you can't do real stunts with them.

I get this sometimes. Seems to depend on the server and round, maybe like the squad bug but more frequent. Never happens in local servers.
