Give Squad Leaders minimap back?

It would kinda make sense since he is the one coordinating the squad? I mean dont SL in real life carry portable gps devices?? Just throwin out a suggestion.

I thought this a few times, but then i remembered that all SL's and squad members have the available maps (TAB, Enter, M), and the way the gameplay is set up in PR, i think that it should be either all members have a mini-map, or nobody.

i think that the whole map idea should be changed so that you cant see empty cars,tanks,apc ect... or friendlys or anything really it should be just a normal map of the area with maybe things like objectives on it... as for having the gps showing wile playing is a big no... I dont know about you but when i was serving in afganstian we wernt shooting at the enemy and looking at the gps at the same time... also there is only one gps per section (NAV-Guy)...

Anyway i think the maps should look more like this...

1 guy with gps....well in my unit...or platoon rather...normal inf. plt. all SL's had gps(4), some teamleaders(x2 for # of SL's), the F.O.(1), plt sgt, and plt leader (2)...so thats alot of gps in a platoon. but to referance game....i thought the minimap was to represent the land warrior system (i think thats what its called) in which teamleader and above are made to wear. but i think it should be used the way the map is now... to see waypoints givin by leaders and anyone can spot anything to create less chatter on the voip. but i love how there is no tracking enemy now...reality. anyways...thats my .02c
if indeed the minimap ever comes back...thats how think it should be. but i dont care...just glad the pace of the game slowed down a bit.

and i was just thinking...what if there was a uav that the commander only got to look through from above and cound only relay info via voice of what he sees in that area of the uav. as if the commander doest have enough stuff to do allready...just a thought..sorry for off topic a bit.
